Who we are
Quotepart ("we") provides real estate brokers in Quebec with a service that analyses a condominium syndicate's documents. This policy applies to the quotepart.ca website. The application used by brokers has its own policy, presented to users before they first sign in.

Information we collect
When you visit the site. Our hosting provider, Vercel, logs minimal technical data (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) to keep the site working and secure.
When you request early access. See "Early-access list" below.
When you use the lot number lookup. See "Lot number lookup" below.
When you write to us. We keep your name, email address and message so we can reply.
If you accept analytics. See "Cookies and analytics" below.
We collect no other personal information on this site.
Cookies and analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to see how many people visit the site and which pages they view. It is always on. It uses no cookies and keeps no identifier that could recognize you from one visit to the next; we only see the results as aggregate statistics.
Only with your consent, we also use Google Analytics 4, a service of Google LLC, to measure traffic: page views, traffic sources and early-access signups. Google Analytics sets cookies (_ga) in your browser. The data is processed by Google, including in the United States, and kept for 2 months. Nothing is loaded until you make a choice, and Google Analytics stays off if you refuse. You can withdraw your consent at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page; the Google Analytics cookies are then deleted.
A "Marketing" category is reserved in the cookie settings for measuring advertising campaigns. No such tool is active yet.
The site keeps your language choice and your cookie choice (for 12 months) in your browser. They are not used for tracking.
When you use the lot number lookup, the site keeps a session token in that browser tab; it is not a cookie. It is valid for 30 minutes and disappears when you close the tab. The token is strictly necessary for the tool to work and is not used for tracking.
The site uses no advertising cookies. Without your consent, it uses no technology that can identify, locate or profile you.
Early-access list
What we collect. Your name, email address, profile (broker, agency or other) and, if you provide them, your agency's name and the approximate number of condo transactions you handle per year. We also keep the language of the form, the page you came from, the date of your request and, if you tick the box for it, your consent to receive our news, with the exact wording of that box.
The form also asks, optionally, how you heard about Quotepart, to understand which channels bring people to us.
Why. To invite you to Quotepart and organise onboarding. We send you new articles and news only if you ticked the box for it, which is never ticked in advance.
Where. Your information is stored in Canada, with Supabase. The confirmation email is sent through Amazon SES, from Canada.
The form is protected against bots by Cloudflare Turnstile, which receives technical data about your browser and your IP address, processed including in the United States.
How long. Your information is deleted 12 months after our last contact if no account has been activated.
How to be removed. Use the unsubscribe link in any news email, or write to privacy@quotepart.ca to be removed from the list.
Lot number lookup
The address and unit number you enter are sent to our servers only to look up the lot number in the property assessment roll. They are not stored or logged. To protect the tool against automated abuse, we count lookups by IP address, in a form that cannot be read back, and these counters are deleted after 7 days. The tool is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that the request comes from a person. If you click "View on a map", the address is sent to Google Maps, which processes it under its own privacy policy.
Use and sharing
We use this information only to run and protect the site, answer your messages, manage the early-access list, provide the lot number lookup and, with your consent, measure traffic. We do not sell it or use it for advertising.
We use Vercel for website hosting and cookieless analytics, Proton (Switzerland) for email, Supabase (Canada) to host our databases, including the early-access list, Amazon SES (Canada) for sending email, Cloudflare for Turnstile, the protection against automated abuse on the early-access form and the lot number lookup, and, with your consent, Google for Google Analytics. Some data may be processed outside Quebec, including in the United States, by Vercel, Cloudflare and Google. Before any personal information is communicated outside Quebec, we assess whether it will receive adequate protection.
Retention
Technical data is kept by our hosting provider for a limited period, then deleted. Google Analytics data is kept for 2 months. The lot number lookup's counters are deleted after 7 days. Early-access list information is deleted 12 months after our last contact if no account has been activated. Your correspondence is destroyed no later than two years after our last exchange.
Security
The site is protected by an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to your correspondence and to the early-access list is limited to those who need it.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you may withdraw your consent. Write to privacy@quotepart.ca; we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

Any change will be posted on this page, with its date.
